Coming Soon: Imperial Stout Reviews
I’ve got a couple of new beer reviews in the works. Since winter is the season of stout, I picked up a pair of imperial stouts for sampling. The “imperial” in the name usually indicates a much higher abv than in normal stouts. Guinness is around 4.5% abv, while the Sierra Nevada Narwhal I sampled sits at a hefty 10.2% abv. I still have to crack and take notes on the Weyerbacher Heresy I bought. If it’s aged in whiskey barrels it has to be good, right?
