SoTD: Roger Waters “4:41 AM (Sexual Revolution)”

Roger Waters wailing over Eric Clapton’s guitar…does it get any better than this?  The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking is rather hit and miss when you listen to the whole album, but this song is definitely the high point.  I don’t think Roger really hit his stride as a solo act until Amused to Death, but at least he got there eventually.

I’m hoping to turn out a few longer articles over the next several days.  I’ve been very sick with a nasty bug this whole week and it has really dampened my desire to do any kind of extended concentrating on words and phrasing, and any kind of beer tasting has been completely out of the question.  I’ll have something for you when I’m feeling better.
