I love live music. Whenever you go to see one of your favorite artists perform live, there’s always the element of the unknown. What will they play? Will my favorites get in there? Will it be all new stuff? Are there going to be any covers? I’ve already written about my fondness for great cover versions of songs, especially when the original artist and the one covering the song are from totally different genres. That’s how you get awesome hybrids like a funky bluegrass version of a Foster the People hit. How dope is this shit?
