SoTD: Symphony of Science “We are all Connected”

I’m all fired up for the second of episode of Cosmos tonight, so I dug up this autotuned classic featuring Carl Sagan, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Bill Nye and other.  I have been fascinated by astronomy for the longest time.  Whenever I step outside on a clear night, I am compelled to look upward.  I try to see how many astronomical landmarks I can find; the Hyades, the Pleiades, Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, the Andromeda galaxy, etc.  Unfortunately, math has always been a struggle for me, so I have never been able to effectively immerse myself in the science that fascinates me.  It doesn’t stop me from devouring whatever tidbits I can find in books and on the internet.  I love listening to Dr. Tyson and others like Michio Kaku talk about things so fantastic that the fact that they are real is far more compelling than any work of fiction could ever be.

It was not a productive weekend writing wise as I was focused being social and playing a shitload of World of Tanks.   I have been improving so much at WoT lately that I have really been focused on spending most of my free time there.  The urge to be creative will win out at some point and I’ll get more long form posts up here for public consumption.
