SoTD: Some Guy “Promontory”
The Last of the Mohicans is one of my very favorite films, and I’ve always been moved by certain parts of the soundtrack. Today’s clip is the main LotM theme played solely on acoustic guitar. It’s an amazing rendition that is incredibly lush considering it’s all done on one instrument. The original has strings, drums, bass, the whole nine. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
My writing funk continues. Other than being able to churn out a fairly straightforward beer review, I haven’t been in the right mindset to construct anything interesting. Seasonal weather is finally predicted for the weekend, so maybe that will help me break free of this incredibly blah period I’m experiencing. I still need to get around to finishing my Red Sox preview and time is running out. I don’t want to put pressure on myself, but I hate the fact that I start things and don’t complete them. I hope I feel inspired soon.
